Often times bigfootery is stranger than fiction. This is one of those cases. Are we psychic, or simply psychotic? Just days ago we noted some reports we had received about smoldering problems in Ohio. The person who thinks he is the authority on bigfoot in Ohio was getting nervous about some of the new people on the block that were out far more often and accomplishing a whole lot more than he was. Bigfootery and the media were taking notice, there was a revolution in Ohio bigfooting, the you-tube bigfooter. This was a problem, both because of the shift in notoriety and the market threat. These new guys were giving away content, a cardinal sin in the eyes of the fourth level “Bigfoot Researcher” keen to turn some bigfoot bucks.
A day after our report, tips started to come in. Evidently Keating had taken what had been private rants on to a more public forum, a yahoo group that he runs. He and one of his cronies lambasted the upstart youtube bigfooters. Here are the posts that we found once we went digging. The first is from Keating, the second from one of his followers; we have removed headers and other identifying information on whom supplied the messages as he reported Keating did a purge of his group back to the people he thought were his true followers. Let’s just say he missed one or two.
Regarding the youtube bigfooters like Tim and a guy from Fla., Keating said:
Yet another group of experts who think they’ll find what’s roaming the woods near / in Salt Fork. This guy has NO IDEA how harsh the nights in Ohio are in November, LMAO!
BTW, FWIW by the time summer is over access to areas in the park will be cut out. Things are being arranged behind the scenes that no one know of.
What one of his loyal subjects, a guy named Feltner added:
Hey Florida swamp monster….. ..And All you fools running around putting stupid shit on youtube or should i say youfake….. ..Get a life!!!.lol.
At least Keating’s comment, if not others, ended up in the inbox of the person he was attacking (as The Bigfootery Enquirer predicted less than 24 hours earlier). Here was that person’s response, and we must say it rises in class and clarity so very far beyond the pale of the bulldoggy, it is at least Bigfootery Silver.
The outpouring of support to the attacked person is telling, and some of the comments are darn funny. And from what we hear, for not knowing Keating, he has pegged him pretty well.
We are currently interviewing two individuals concerning the latter part of Keating’s email where he boasts of his closing down parts of a state park, another possibility we hinted at. The situation at that park, according to our sources, is a story unto itself.
Post Script – it would seem that Tim either got cold feet, was put upon by the Keating cronies to cease and desist or has arrived at some compromise with the person who was making fun of him as he has pulled down his video responding to the abusive posts about his plans and youtube bigfooting in general. We hope he at least got an apology, although we imagine the person who fired off the abusive post to his inner circle somehow spun this into being the victim.
