This update comes from an informant, we have not checked the facts but unfortunately it rings true. Our informant listened to an internet radio show and claims this is right from The Bigfoot Bully’s mouth.
The stellar comment idea of having a canned food donation and our challenge to match the donations is, sadly, not going to happen. Too much greed. And evidently the admission fee has doubled from $5 to $10. Adding insult to injury, from our tip, is that greater bigfootery is being told to feel lucky the admission price is just $10 as others charge much more.
In a true double insult to injury, our idea to charge a package price for the “guided tour” has been stolen and people can expect to part with 5$, or $20/car, to have the privilege of visiting a free state park. That sounds like someone is setting themself up as an outfitter/guide and we are curious about licensing and other arrangements Ohio may have on such arrangements on public lands. Expect some investigation and possible inquiries to the proper officials in Ohio from one of the BFE’s crack stringers. Crack as in sharp and quick, not crack as in drugs, although some may disagree.
Since you love bashing Don so much, i would love for it to be known that Joyce Kearny is paying to fly in Bob Gimlin and Tom Yamarone AND that Tom and Bob have to pay for their own rooms at Salt Fork. Don is keeping all the money
We reply… gullible, is that you? That will add some money to the bully’s bottom line, which is substantial. Thanks for the info, it will be helpful, but not here. Goodness, his costs are near nothing (promises of gas money – that in past years were not always honored – compted rooms for a few, airfare for Meldum [maybe?]) and nearly every dollar will be profit this year, what a gig.
Bashing. In our view the use of that word is a cheap, emotional attempt to play a victim role, gather sympathy and diminish, in this case, real issues of integrity. A heat reversal, so to speak. It is an incompetent arguement in this case, but not unexpected from fans of the bully who want to be part of the congregation and help him if they can. This definition of bashing seems to cover the topic well in terms of how the bully and bullyettes attempt to use the term:
Non-physical bashing
See also: French bashing
In cases of non-physical bashing, the term is normally used with the intention of having a pejorative effect on the identified bashers by comparing them to perpetrators of criminal assaults. Sometimes this label is applied to criticisms that are not particularly vehement nor even inappropriate. In these cases, the term can be seen to be applied purely for partisan benefit. The use of the term within this context is most common in editorial or personal commentary. Common terms within this area include “Republican Bashing”, “Democrat Bashing”, “Clinton Bashing”, and “Bush Bashing”. These terms are used to imply that the criticism of these groups or individuals is excessive, too frequent, uncompromising or inappropriate given their status. Since politics is inherently partisan, the term bashing is frequently used to cast negative aspersions on critics for political gain.
To sum, we are equal opportunity – did you forget about our article where you chased an obviously hoaxed article all the way to suburban Detroit in search of bigfoot? Bigfootery gold, by the way. The bully came up on our radar when he soapboxed on some internet shows, the persona rubbed two of us the wrong way. We dug, we got some tips, we found that he is right up there with Caramel Biscotti in terms of being a bigfootery carnival barker. He needs to work on the greed, integrity and honesty issues. We’d love not to cover his antics, the hater emails from his congregation and attempts to goad us in other ways are amusing and yet tiring and getting old.
Now DonKey is telling people he’s not allowed to give guided tours on state property. That’s a lie. He’s not allowed to CHARGE for guided tours on state property. And if he’s not going to get money out of something – he’s not going to do it. Besides, he doesn’t have time to get out and fake prints this year.
Hey! Why did the price disappear from the conference web site? I guess if you don’t have a posted price, you can charge what you feel like at the time. Price may vary dependent on what DonKey feels you can afford.
